Since July 2023, for approximately 18 months, CetroX has been committed to providing excellent service to one of Brazil's largest pharmaceutical companies, Vitamedic. Faced with the gummy trend, the company was looking for machinery to structure a production line and guarantee quality, safety, and high profitability with gummy products.

The Sales Executive of Cetro X, Josefher Lopes, and the Head of Sales, Gustavo Bueno, led the negotiations between Vitamedic and the CetroX teams. The companies joined forces to understand the needs of the gummy market and developed a project aligned with the regulatory standards required for pharmaceutical production.

 “This is Cetro’s biggest project because it was a huge challenge for us. When you negotiate with one of the biggest pharmaceutical businesses in Brazil, it is another experience. Internally, we had to do a lot of technical and operational work to meet our clients' needs” – Josefher Lopes, Sales Executive of CetroX.

Despite being a mature segment in the United States, the gummy manufacturing industry in Brazil is moving towards expansion. For this project, it was necessary to conduct research in the market and learn more about the machines available and the adjustments necessary to obtain the ideal result.

Firstly, Cetro invited Wagner Guedin, Vitamedic's Corporate Operations Manager, to take a tour of the company’s headquarters and an exclusive visit to a partner’s factory that operates only with CetroX machinery. The goal was to see the machines in action and understand in detail what drives #DNACetro.

Total commitment

Between several meetings and visits to Vitamedic in Goiânia - GO, this far-reaching project was taking shape. However, it required the involvement of multiple departments from both companies and relied on the crucial work of the Cetro Team in China, where João Volfi and Luiz Arão from the Projects and Engineering Department were in direct contact with the headquarters team in Brazil.

To remain once again one step ahead in innovation, the teams exchanged knowledge about the production of gummies and were able to develop a project that completely solves the gaps in the gummy market.
